Nintendo DS Lite & Bape

It looks like Bape designer, Nigo has his hands in everything!
The latest design from A Bathing Ape, are two special editions Nintendo DS Lites. Mario and Milo adorn the DS Lite in a Louis Vuitton fashion nod. I think it is pretty cute!
They go on sale in Japan April 1st, we will include the YJ links when they are available!

Nintendo DS Lite Rentals Make Rush Hour Fly By

Starting February 14th, train riders on the Shinkansen bullet train between Hiroshima and Tokyo will be offered free Nintendo DS systems and games for rent for a three day period. Only twenty will be available each day.

Video rentals are not popular in Japan and this method hopes to encourage more rentals and more train riders versus other methods of transportation.

New PSP for Japan- Slimmer and More Colors!

The new PlayStation Portable will hit Japan in September. The newly designed PSP will be slimmer & lighter, have a faster loading time, longer battery life and come in 6 new colors.

Colors available will be: Piano Black, Ice Silver, Ceramic White, Rose Pink, Felicia Blue and Lavender Purple.

The price will be 19800 yen.

Japan also has a GOLD PSP and Nintendo DS lite colors and Pokemon Nintendo DS that we here in the US do not get either!

Nintendo DS Lite New Yellow Pokemon Color!

Just two weeks ago, Nintendo DS Lite introduced new colors available only in Japan.

They now introduce the Yellow Pokemon DS lite edition adorned with Pikachu!

Only available through a lottery at the Japanese Pokemon Center in Tokyo, however, these will be sure to make their way to Yahoo Japan auctions.
This DS Lite is a limited edition.

Nintendo DS Lite New Colors- Japan Only (of course...)

Nintendo Japan announces two new colors to the DS lite Lineup- Metallic Rose and Gloss Silver.

No idea if they will hit the US, the pretty color Ice Blue (my personal fav) never reached our shores.
